Hawthorne Christian Academy hosts its annual Banquet and Silent Auction on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, New Jersey. Joining them for this event will be keynote speaker, Dr. Daniel Egeler. Egeler is President of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and author of Mentoring Millennials: Shaping the Next Generation. Egeler served for 13 years as a teacher, high school principal, and director of the Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador. He returned to the United States in 1999 and has worked with ACSI in a variety of roles in the Global division; he assumed the role of president in 2013. Having grown up as a Third Culture Kid (TCK) in Tanzania, Egeler learned the art of oral history from African elders. He brings that same form of communication and passion to his audiences today.
