Edline

HCA has again continued its subscription with Edline.  Edline's services allow our teachers to communicate class related information to both students and parents.

In order to use Edline, you must have activated an account.  New parents and students are provided with activation codes in order to activate their accounts.  Please look for your Edline account information to come to you in the mail in the days prior to the start of school or via your child once school begins.  If you have not received your account information by the start of school, please contact the school office.

Mass Notifications

HCA will now be using Edline to facilitate mass notifications for emergency and other important messages (e.g. delayed openings and early dismissals).  In order for this to work effectively, it is requested that all parents establish their notifcation preferences within their Edline account.  See the Edline documents below for more information or assistance.

Edline Tips

  • Parents should NOT use their child's account to access Edline.
  • Students should NOT use their parent's account to access Edline.
  • Only students in grades 6-12 should activate their accounts (unless specifically requested by a lower school teacer).
  • Don't use a parent email address in a student account.
  • When creating a password hint, your question answer should be entered exactly how you will enter it later when needing the reminder.

Trouble Accessing Edline?

If you are experiencing trouble accessing the Edline service, please be sure to follow these steps before requesting assistance from HCA staff.

  • Be sure you are accessing Edline at www.edline.net, not edline.com
  • Use the 'Forgot Screenname' or 'Forgot Password' links on the Edline login screen for help
  • Remember your password is case-sensitive
