The faculty and staff of HCA are committed to serving Jesus Christ through ministering
to children and young people. Their objective is to assist students to develop
spiritually, academically, and socially.

Each teacher must have earned a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
A number of the faculty have also earned a master’s degree.
New Jersey does not require teachers in a private school to hold state certification,
most classroom teachers hold teaching certification. In addition to these state certificates,
the full-time teachers and administrators are required to maintain certification from
Association of Christian Schools International.
Bible training is part of the ongoing requirement for ACSI certification.

The faculty of the Lower School (grades K-5) consists of twelve full-time teachers
who are supported by a Lower School Principal, librarian, art, music, computer,
and physical education teachers. The Learning Center, which is staffed by
two full-time teachers, provides supplementary and remedial assistance.

The Middle School and Upper School faculty consists of twenty-eight full-time
teachers and four part-time teachers who provide instruction in their area of expertise
within a departmentalized program. The Guidance Office provides our young people
with clear direction and encouragement during their years at HCA and especially as
they traverse the college admission process.

Teachers participate in ACSI regional conferences and various other seminars to enhance their professional skills and remain current with innovative teaching methods.

The faculty is supported by a dedicated staff consisting of administrative assistants,
secretaries, development personnel and a full-time nurse.
In addition there is a large contingent of volunteers ranging from young adults to senior citizens.
