Miss Jacobsen is a familiar face to HCA, as she attended the Academy from kindergarten through twelfth grade. After graduating HCA, she attended college in Florida. She is certified and licensed to teach in both New Jersey and Florida.

After graduation, she came back to Hawthorne Christian Academy as a substitute teacher in 2012. A few months later, she was given the opportunity to become one of the third grade teachers. Miss Jacobsen is thankful to be back at the school that had such a positive impact on her life.
