Sonia Thomas grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she completed all her formal schooling. She graduated from Brock University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education. After completing both degrees, she received additional certifications for teaching English as a Second Language and Special Education from the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.
Her passion for education and working with kids has taken her across the globe and has allowed her to work with a diverse range of learners in a variety of settings, including: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, The United Kingdom, and Canada. When she is not teaching 6th and 8th grade English Language Arts or traveling, you can find her leading worship at her home church, hiking, or testing out new recipes.
