HCA’s PTF (Parent-Teacher Fellowship) exists to come alongside our families, faculty, and administration to encourage, support, and advance HCA. With vehicles such as weekly PTF prayer meetings and monthly PTF representative meetings, parents can learn more about our school and the activities that occur throughout the year. They can also learn about opportunities to be actively involved in the lives of their children, both on and off campus. This hands-on approach to helping our children thrive in a Bible-based community has made such a difference, not just in their lives, but in the lives of our parents as well, as they use their God-given gifts and talents to further encourage and build up the family community at HCA. The PTF organizes many fundraisers and activities that provide opportunities for every parent to come on board and volunteer. PTF encourages fellowship within the community of HCA by being a positive facilitator of prayer, relationships, events, and communication between families and school.

After years as PTF Reps, here are some of the things our parents have to say about the program:
“As we look around the HCA campus, we can see evidence of what the PTF has done with the funds they raise each year – from the electronic sign, to the fleeces worn by faculty and staff, to the microwaves in the pavilion, the summer study books provided to teachers, Homecoming, College Fair, Open Houses, Jog-A-Thon, and many individual class events – all of which would not be possible without the help of the PTF!”
– Alison Duncan, Immediate Past PTF President
“As a Christian school male PTF rep, it has been very exciting to serve both our 7 th grade class families and the entire school’s families and students, and to facilitate opportunities to serve and initiate family fellowship during and outside of school hours.”
– Rick Camacho, 8 th Grade PTF Rep
“Being a PTF rep has allowed me opportunities to make memories with the children, to get to know the faculty better, and to use my love of entertaining and hospitality to bless others. It’s a great way to get to know more people. I am looking forward to continuing on in the PTF next year.”
– Stasi Seidler, 7 th Grade PTF Rep
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God varied grace”
– 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV).
