Welcome to Hawthorne Christian Academy! We are a college preparatory day school for students in pre-school through grade twelve. HCA provides a strong academic program based on the truths and principles of Scripture. We were founded in 1981 as a ministry of Hawthorne Gospel Church and we are evangelical and interdenominational.


Our Preschool program provides a solid academic readiness foundation in a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

Lower School

Our Lower School lays a strong academic and spiritual foundation for our students in kindergarten through grade five.

Middle School

The Middle School consists of grades six through eight. Basic subjects are English, Social Studies, Math, Reading, Science, Bible, and Physical Education.

High School

Our High School is a college preparatory school that offers of a wealth of academic offerings including a variety of AP-level courses.
