Biography
Having benefited from a Christian education from preschool through 12th grade, Mr. Tierney is committed to helping students thrive academically, creatively, and spiritually. Since joining HCA in 2022, he has been thrilled to be teaching several media/communication courses, serving as the yearbook advisor, and as the HCA social media content creator.
In addition to teaching at HCA, Mr. Tierney is the Creative Director at the Hawthorne Gospel Church and also an Adjunct Professor at Ramapo College. As an active member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church, Mr. Tierney serves in both the Middle School and the High School youth ministry. His passion is to come alongside students, encouraging them to deepen their faith and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
