Biography
Mr. Candela started his college journey in accounting, where he hoped to become yet another CPA in the family. Through college ministry and serving in youth group, he felt God was leading him to teach. After attending Ramapo College, he taught for 6 years in public charter teaching high school math and finance. This past summer, the door opened for him to join HCA. Seeing the impact of a Christ-centered education in his own life as a homeschooler, the opportunity to join HCA was a clear decision. James is also now an HCA parent, and is blessed to begin this journey with his wife Sara and two young children.
