Daniel Pollard

Biography
Having grown up in a Christian home, Mr. Pollard accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of ten. Since then, he has made it his life's goal to live for Jesus and to be like Him. In 2007, he moved from his home in New Jersey to follow the Lord's leading to sunny Florida. There, he attended Bible school and was trained in God's word. During that time, he taught in two different Christian schools.
In 2016, God directed Mr. Pollard to return to New Jersey to be near family with the mindset to look for a new career. But God had other plans. God's direction was very clear for him to return to graduate studies to get his degree in education.
After a few years teaching in public school as an Encore teacher, the Lord gave Mr. Pollard complete peace about joining the HCA family in 2022. He is excited to see how God will use him to encourage and uplift students to desire God's best for them.
When Mr. Pollard is not teaching, he enjoys hiking, reading, watching the Mets and Jets, watching movies, woodburning, writing poetry and juvenile novels, leading worship at his church, directing the youth group, and teaching Sunday School for 3rd-5th graders. He also enjoys singing and playing the guitar, piano, and trombone.
