Biography

Born and raised in southern California, Dr. Fung grew up with Christian education through high school and college in pursuit of the medical field. Throughout his education, he was inspired by his teachers to be a life-long learner and critically think about the relationship between faith and science. After graduating from podiatry school and completing his residency program in New York, God called Dr. Fung to use his gifts, passion, and experience to walk alongside and disciple students in their formative years at HCA. His desire is for his students to marvel at the works of our loving sovereign Creator through studying science. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, listening to and playing music, and sipping a good cup of coffee.
