Biography
Shawn joins HCA after teaching science for three years at Emerson Junior Senior High School. Prior to entering education, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a leukemia researcher and later as a Robotic Joint Replacement Specialist for Stryker Orthopedics. Throughout his career, Shawn felt God leading him toward education and ultimately surrendered to His calling. Since doing so, he has experienced God’s presence and guidance more deeply and looks forward to serving students and the HCA community. Shawn shares three children with his wife Samantha: Niall, Declan, and Juliette.
