Biography
Having attended a Christian school from preschool through 12th grade, Mr. Tierney recognizes the value and importance of HCA. Prior to working at HCA, Mr. Tierney worked as a Digital Media Assistant at the Hawthorne Gospel Church. Mr. Tierney considers himself a lifelong learner, and enjoys exploring just as much as he loves teaching.
In addition to teaching at HCA, Mr. Tierney is also an Adjunct Professor at Ramapo College. Mr. Tierney is an active member of the Hawthorne Gospel Church, where he serves in both the Middle School and the High School youth ministry. His passion is to come alongside students, encouraging them to explore their faith in a deeper sense, so they may become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Mr. Tierney is thrilled to be teaching several media courses, serving as the yearbook advisor, and as the HCA social media content creator.
